Connor's Birthday Party.....

Well we took 10 young men to the Millstream Raceway Slot Car Track today in Ringwood for his birthday party.  They all had the best time and guess who won.....Connor of course, Tony says it';s a fix but I like to think that he won because he was the best on the day rather than the slot people sucking up to the people going to pay the bill !



He has been well and truly spoilt for his birthday, but after the year he has had with his health, I think he deserves it.

Birthday Boy

Well our one and only son has made 8 years old today and we are off to a firework display on the quay in Poole...Pics to show you tomorrow...He finally got his much longed for and wanted DS Lite and was over the moon at 6.45am this morning!!!!!!

More Cards

Well I'm back...I seemed to have forgotten how to do a blog post and was too lazy to find out how, anyway I did find out and here we are...Christmas Cards....Argggggggh...not yet please, but here we go, I do need to write a message on the tag at some point.  The stamps were lent to me by Claire V ( Thanks Claire) and coloured in using my fabby Prismacolor Pencils.



I have chosen papers from Craft Obsessions and they come from Dream Street Papers – Wonderland Collection).  The Snowflakes were hand cut and covered with Glossy Accents and tipped with stickles

 



and finally the juggling snowman which I love...

Mia-ann....

Here is a couple of the latest pictures of our precious God-Daughter Mia-ann. For some reason I have always called her flowerpot. Well Sadie who is Mia-ann's mum went and had these proffesional pictures done and had this one done especially for me...couldn't you just eat her xxx

I'm a Dithering Diva....

Wey hey...I am in a team on UK Scrappers, we are called the Dithering Diva's..aptly named me thinks. None of us could decide on a name and I thought of the Diamond Diva's so we combined the two and came up with the name.

I really htink I'm gonna like my team mates, they all seem to have a great sense of humour and are slightly off the wall which suits me fine.

I made this card for the Poole Pirate Speedway Rider Davey Watt and his wife Fiona. My isiter went to school with Fiona and my mum knows her mum and they are all HUGE speedway fans... I have used the adorable Rachelle Anne Miller stamp which I got from Funky Kits....

Lilac Tilda Magnolias

I made this card for my friend Diane...or as I call her Dolly, I don't know how the name came about but it seems to have stuck and thats all I ever call her now. She had a really lovely garden party yesterday for her 50th Birthday and this is the card I gave her.

here is a close up of her, I have done this card again with the Prismacolor pencils and the new Basic Grey papers, Prima blooms and real swarovski flat back crystals for the centre of the flowers.

I went to David and Brenda's from Craft Obsessions crop on Saturday and instead of Scrapbooking I made cards, I had a pile to make and this was one of them...you guessed it I don't want to give her away, with a bit of therapy I'm sure this lack of desire to send my cards will pass......eventually !

Prisma Pencils Rock !!!

Well I know I have been away for a while, well quite a while to be frank ! But I am back and I now have my new Prisma Pencils courtesy of my frind Barrie in the Good Old US of A ( they got here eventually Barrie !!!)

I have shown a card I made using the super cute Sugar Nellie Stamps which I adore.

I love this card soooo much I need to keep it instead of sending it to the intended recipient...I guess you will never know if one was meant for you !

We are God Parents......

Well yesterday we were finally made God Parents to beautiful Mia-ann Louise Errington. We had a wonderful day and felt so priviledged to be such an important part of her life. The weather was not what we would have hoped for, a bit drizzly and windy, but that didn't stop us having a fab time. Everyone had a great day and the star of the show was on best behaviour as always.

I gave our reading and Tony lit the candles ( probably safer that way he reckons) and I hope we did Mia-ann and Sadie proud. Sadie is such a great mum and Mia-ann is soooo lucky to be growing up in such a kind, caring and compassionate family....she's a lucky girl XXX

The Naked Truth.....

Well me and Penny went to see this show at The Lighthouse last night. It was fabulous, all about a group of girls who meet at a Pole Dancing Class....Lots of laughs, Tears and outrageous costumes. It was great. My friend Ann bought tickets for us both to go and see it for my birthday, then she went and hurt her back ( poor thing ) so I had choose to take Penny (Sister) instead, We went to Franky and Bennys first and had Salad for main course and then because we felt so virtuous we went for it with Cinnamon Waffles, Vanilla Ice Cream and Sauce and it was heaven !!! ( we did drink diet coke so we figure that cancels out the calories right ! ) I did promise not to mention the White Chocolate thickly coated ice cream we had in the interval but as I am confessing my sins I may as well tell all !

Lumin-Essence Rep.....

Well I am chuffed, I have been asked by Lisa and Darrin from Lumin-Essence in Poole to be there "Event Representitive" for this area. This means that I will be taking home parties, organising private shopping events in the shop in Poole and helping out with the big consumer shows as well. I am so looking forward to getting going, having my first party and enlightening those who have never had a Yankee Candle experience into the wonderful world of smell !

It seems odd that a few weeks ago I didn't have a job and now I have three...I think I will have to re-negotiate on this whole 24 hours in a day deal !!
