I have used Crate Paper-Katlin range which I adore. As mentioned before, the image is a H&S (when O when will be able to buy these in the UK she cries) I have used ribbon roses, wire curls with swarovski crystals on the end for a bit of sparkle.  The punch used for the two sections is a SU punch, Ribbon, flat back pearls and a Martha Stewart rose leaf punch.  I think thats about it, I love your comments so feel free to leave yours- bye for now Jo XX

Christmas in August...Courtesy of Sugar Nellie

Well I always have the Sugar Nellie Blog as one of my tabs on "tinternet" and today Karen asked to see Chrsitmas cards using Sugar Nellie stamps...well I only have one that is vaguely Christmassy and I wasn't "feeling the vibe" to use it so decided to festive up one of the Manga Chicks....I also attempted a tri-fold card using one of the tutorials on Split Coast Stampers...here is my card, I hope you like...

I have used the brand new My Minds Eye Papers - Colorful Christmas which I adore, The ribbon is from Creative Imaginations and has white snowflakes on it.  I have also used copious Swarovski Crystals. Here is a close up of Little Miss Manga...

Heartfelt Wishes


I just love the colour combination of the Turquoise and the Orange...the paper is from Mt Minds Eye and is from the Bloom & Grow range. The stamp is the C C Swiss Pixie - Heidi who I absolutely adore. I have stickled her wings and I have used my Prisma Pencils to colour her....although I am getting a hankering for some Pro-Markers which I just can't ignore !!

I have used the Lime Rickey range of papers from Basic Grey and also Bethany Angel from High Hopes Stamps..I love the combination of colours with her slightly hippy look.  I have also used for the first time my Edge Distresser from Heidi Swapp, I have had it for years and NEVER used it, I will from now on.

Manga Lime and Orange


I just love the colour combination of the Lime and Orange. I have used Doodlebug Papers and the fabulous Manga stamp from Funky Kits.  I have coloured it in using my Prisma Colour pencils and was very unsure as to how to colour them as they are not your cutesy kind of stamps. I love the sketch and will be keeping it for future use..Here is a close up of her

Pink Manga


I have used the new Manga stamp from Funky Kits which I adore. I have coloured her using my Prisma Color Pencils. The papers are Flip Flop from the paper loft.  I have used loads of pearls, prima flowers, ribbon and my Martha Stewart punch ( Lace Doily). The Message was done on the computer...here is a close up..

Playful Petals and Gorguss Girl

Here is a card I put together following a sketch from one of the challenge sites..unfortunately I got sidetracked and not only did I not get it uploaded in time, but I forgot which site it came from....DOH

I love the paper range which is Playful Petals from Daisy Bucket Designs, I used ribbon and heart headed pins from stash, pearls from Basic Grey,  and three swarovski bi-cones on the end of each pin which really finishes them off and add's that all important sparkle.
