Hi, I hope you are safe and well, where ever you are and not too snowy..ours turned to slush in a matter of 24 hours and then vanished..oh well once in 18 years isn't too bad I suppose !!!
I have had a bash at the above challenge which can be found here..
here is my card which I will be giving to one of my yummy mummy friends on Saturday..as you can see she has turned 40 and the card will contain a collection from the other yummy mummy friends..
I have fallen head over heels in love with The greetings farm Anya and Ian and got this image is a download which worked out at £2.10 and was with me instantly. The only problem I had with this image is that my printer ink didn't like the sansador fluid and I had to be SOOOOO careful otherwise it turned into a big black mess ( as my previous three attempts are testiment to !)
Here is the Recipe...
Image: Digital Download from The Greetings Fasm
Cardstock : Basic Grey - Oh Baby Girl
Ribbon, FlatBacked Pearls, Doodlebug Buttons
Coloured in with Prisma Colours
and here is a side profile so you can seee dimensions of the card...I hope she likes it !!

Well as I have been housebound again here today by the snow ( it has just started to sleet so I reckon it will be gone in no time) I decided to make the most of the time I had " free" and go for it on the cardmaking !
I have had a bash at the above cvhallenge which can be found here
and as it is sponsored by Pollycraft I thought I would have a nosey around her blog and her stamps...I love them. Anyway she had a free upload showing on her blog so I thought I would give the challenge a go with one of her stamps - even if it was free ( Thanks I really appreciate it)
Here is my card...
I have decoupaged the wings and tail as I think it gives the image a bit of depth, I have to be honest I love it, those birds are so cute...
Cardstock : Basic Grey Euphoria
Ribbon from Stash
Swarovski Crystals and a coloured in using Prisma Colours with a touch of glitter Gelly Roll on the wings..
I have decided that I really rather like the sketched form the Mojo Monday blog so I have had another go this week.. the site is http://mojomonday.blogspot.com/2009/02/mojo-monday-72-contest.html andthe sketch look like this
and here is my attempt at it...
I have used the following...
Cardstock : Bazill Swiss Dots
Papers : My Minds Eye - Laundry Line
Wording : Printed form Computer
Couloured in using my Prisma Pencils
Lace and Crystals from stash
Key : Bought from a flea market for pennies, I think it's a wardrobe key !
Imade the lace flower by running a stitch along the edge and gathering up. The centre of the flower has a bicone swarovki crystal sewn onto it and the thread holding the key also has Swarovski crystals on it.
