Tilda and Edwin on Skates

I made this card for our good friends Rob and Carol, the stamp came from the Magnolia winter kit and I love it.  I have used my trusty Prismacolor Pencils, felt flowers and paper from a blue christmas paper stack form the range.

A non Christmas Card

Hiya, I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas day...we did and were thoroughly spoilt by our best friends Rob and Carol...how many presents !

Mia-ann is one

Well it was Mia-moo's first birthday yesterday and we hosted the party at our house so Sadie could invite more of her friends..here are a few snaps....

Mandi and Ali are 40...he he !

Well my great friend Mandi and her twin sister were forty on Friday and Mandi asked me to make a card that she could give to Ali from her.....and I wanted it to be really special for her...this is what I came up with !

Mia-ann's Invitations..the final version

Well here it is, the final version of the invitation for our special little girl's first birthday party. She is having her party here at our house so that gives me an excuse to do the wholer "pink" thing with the decorations... I can't wait. I am even changing the dec's on the tree tyo reflect her birthday...

I have used my new cuttlebug embossing folder - snowflakes as a background, also the oval scallops nestabilities ( thanks David from Craft Obsessions) and a prima flower and swarovski crystal.  I amde 20 of these which are hand painted using my Prisma colour pencils...time consuming but so worth it X

Our Beautiful Boy....

This picture was taken by Alex Holt ( thanks Alex - top picture) at my friend Dianne's 50th Birthday party, Alex is one of Dianne and Phil's two sons, the other being Matthew. I have yet to meet two nicer young men then Matthew and Alex and I hope that when Connor becomes a man he turns out as lovely as them.

Wow that was deep..Alex has a fabby camera and took some brilliant pics of Connor - this is just one of them.

1st Birthday Invitations

Well I have now finished all the invitations for Mia-ann's 1st Birthday Party which is going to be held at our house.  It will be four days before Christmas so it will give me carte-blanche to razz up the house in Pink and white...Ohhhhh I can't wait.  I used to put my tree up about the 15th December, but since knowing the Erri's, itnow goes up on the 1st of December so I get to drool over it all month.

New Stamp...Milly

I went to the Craft Obsessions crop on Saturday and instead of Scrapbooking I made some cards as I seem to have lost my Scrapping MoJo...I have used "Milly on a yule log" from Spiral Whispers and I love her..

Here is a card I have made for my sister Penny to give to a couple of very good friends for their wedding on Friday. I have used the Magnolia Christmas couple and coloured them in using Browns, Creams and Gold which are their colours... I hope she likes it

Another amazing card maker

Hiya

Just a quick one tonight as I am tired and I need my bed, I have just stumbled upon another amazing card maker called Gayle...at http://littlebirddesign.blogspot.com/ go over and check her out..

I made a couple of cards on Saturday using my new Cuttlebug ( Tony calls it the "Cuttlefish"!!!) so will hopefully post those tomorrow...sleep well X

Hubby's Birthday

It was Tony's 44th Birthday today and I can't believe this time last year we were lazing by the pool in Florida...happy days !!! We spent today in Bath and had a lovely time just mooching around the shops and I finally got to go and have Coffee at the Pump Rooms, which I have been trying to do since 1993 !!!!!

I just stumbled across an amazing blog by a lady who makes wonderful cards....she has had over 12000 hits on her blog..makes my 350 seem pretty pathetic really...the site is http://passionforcrafts.blogspot.com go check it out she is really talented.

A Raspberry Christmas....

Well here she is again, the lovely snowflurry Tilda in a Raspberry Guise....

I have used cardstock from Stampin Up, Prima flowers and Flat Back Pearls, also the crystals dont show up to well but they are Swarovski and REALLY sparkly....

A Blue Christmas....

I managed to get this Magnolia stamp from the glitter pot...it was out of stock on "tinternet" but i was so desperate for it that I rang the shop and begged them to look and see if they had it on the shelf...she did...and they did and here she is. I LOVE her...watch this space as she will be appearing in many incarnations.

A Pink Christmas

Here is a card I made thinking that I might give it to Mia-ann for Christmas but it's so not good enough for her and I'm not really that happy with it, I don't know why, In fact I might just take it to bits and start again, watch this space you MAY see it in a new incarnation!!!



I have used the Home Grown Snowman from Sugar Nellie and they dont show up but all the snowflakes have a half pearl in the centre. The papers are DCWV from the Rose Tinted Christmas Stack...

Another Card.....

This is the card I made for my friend Renee...Happy Birthday Sweetie, I hope you have a great day, I have used the Sweet and Sassy stamp which I Love...

Here is a close up of her, I used Daisy Bucket Papers in the Playful Petals Range, a bit of Bazzil, pearls, swarovski crystals, a bit of ribbon and I used the Stampin Up circle stamps which I think are great.

Connor's Birthday Party.....

Well we took 10 young men to the Millstream Raceway Slot Car Track today in Ringwood for his birthday party.  They all had the best time and guess who won.....Connor of course, Tony says it';s a fix but I like to think that he won because he was the best on the day rather than the slot people sucking up to the people going to pay the bill !



He has been well and truly spoilt for his birthday, but after the year he has had with his health, I think he deserves it.

Birthday Boy

Well our one and only son has made 8 years old today and we are off to a firework display on the quay in Poole...Pics to show you tomorrow...He finally got his much longed for and wanted DS Lite and was over the moon at 6.45am this morning!!!!!!

More Cards

Well I'm back...I seemed to have forgotten how to do a blog post and was too lazy to find out how, anyway I did find out and here we are...Christmas Cards....Argggggggh...not yet please, but here we go, I do need to write a message on the tag at some point.  The stamps were lent to me by Claire V ( Thanks Claire) and coloured in using my fabby Prismacolor Pencils.



I have chosen papers from Craft Obsessions and they come from Dream Street Papers – Wonderland Collection).  The Snowflakes were hand cut and covered with Glossy Accents and tipped with stickles

Mia-ann....

I'm a Dithering Diva....

Wey hey...I am in a team on UK Scrappers, we are called the Dithering Diva's..aptly named me thinks. None of us could decide on a name and I thought of the Diamond Diva's so we combined the two and came up with the name.

I really htink I'm gonna like my team mates, they all seem to have a great sense of humour and are slightly off the wall which suits me fine.

Lilac Tilda Magnolias

I made this card for my friend Diane...or as I call her Dolly, I don't know how the name came about but it seems to have stuck and thats all I ever call her now. She had a really lovely garden party yesterday for her 50th Birthday and this is the card I gave her.

Prisma Pencils Rock !!!

Well I know I have been away for a while, well quite a while to be frank ! But I am back and I now have my new Prisma Pencils courtesy of my frind Barrie in the Good Old US of A ( they got here eventually Barrie !!!)

I have shown a card I made using the super cute Sugar Nellie Stamps which I adore.

I love this card soooo much I need to keep it instead of sending it to the intended recipient...I guess you will never know if one was meant for you !

We are God Parents......

Well yesterday we were finally made God Parents to beautiful Mia-ann Louise Errington. We had a wonderful day and felt so priviledged to be such an important part of her life. The weather was not what we would have hoped for, a bit drizzly and windy, but that didn't stop us having a fab time. Everyone had a great day and the star of the show was on best behaviour as always.

I gave our reading and Tony lit the candles ( probably safer that way he reckons) and I hope we did Mia-ann and Sadie proud. Sadie is such a great mum and Mia-ann is soooo lucky to be growing up in such a kind, caring and compassionate family....she's a lucky girl XXX

The Naked Truth.....

Well me and Penny went to see this show at The Lighthouse last night. It was fabulous, all about a group of girls who meet at a Pole Dancing Class....Lots of laughs, Tears and outrageous costumes. It was great. My friend Ann bought tickets for us both to go and see it for my birthday, then she went and hurt her back ( poor thing ) so I had choose to take Penny (Sister) instead, We went to Franky and Bennys first and had Salad for main course and then because we felt so virtuous we went for it with Cinnamon Waffles, Vanilla Ice Cream and Sauce and it was heaven !!! ( we did drink diet coke so we figure that cancels out the calories right ! ) I did promise not to mention the White Chocolate thickly coated ice cream we had in the interval but as I am confessing my sins I may as well tell all !

Lumin-Essence Rep.....

Well I am chuffed, I have been asked by Lisa and Darrin from Lumin-Essence in Poole to be there "Event Representitive" for this area. This means that I will be taking home parties, organising private shopping events in the shop in Poole and helping out with the big consumer shows as well. I am so looking forward to getting going, having my first party and enlightening those who have never had a Yankee Candle experience into the wonderful world of smell !

It seems odd that a few weeks ago I didn't have a job and now I have three...I think I will have to re-negotiate on this whole 24 hours in a day deal !!

A New Crop....

Well me and my buddies have been to the new scrapbook crop run by David and Brenda from Craft Obsessions today...we had a ball. The day was really relaxed, lots of banter and lots to spend our cash on...STASH STASH STASH ! Tony does not understand my love of scrapbooking...he calls it Crapbooking....but nevertheless he still listens and nods at the right moment and tries to look interested, bless him!

I cant put a picture of my Layouts for today as they are part of a gift for a very special person.

Talking of special people, it is only a month or so until we get made into proper bona fide God Parents for the first time. Little Mia-ann Louise Errington is having a naming day next month and we have been asked to do the honours. We are both so touched to be asked and will take our responsibilities towads her very seriously. I have a Special pet name for her " FlowerPot"..don't ask...I have no idea where it came from but I just call her it and everyone knows that's my name for her.

I'm a thin person...trapped !

Well I have been on ANOTHER diet now for what seems like forever but in reality is only 6 weeks, I have managed to lose 10 lbs so far but I'm really struggling at the moment to not touch the "goodies". Tony and I have been good since we started but I think about food constantly and although I'm sure there are more important things to think about...FOOD seems to be the only thing I can think of !

I am going to a crop tomorrow courtesy of Craft Obsessions in West Moors, It is their very first one and I have rounded up the gang to boost the numbers and offer them support. David and Brenda are great fun and I'm sure we will all have a lovely day.
